Comment voyager à Hawaï maintenant
The State of Hawaii has recently unveiled a comprehensive but easy-to-execute mandatory screening program for travelers to the state called the Safe Travels program. The program requires you to test negative for COVID-19 at one of numerous partner testing sites nationwide. Once you receive your negative COVID test from one of the state's testing partner, you can avoid the necessity of a 10-day quarantine, and head right to the beach once you arrive.
Flying Safe
Travelers who are intending to make Hawaii their vacation destination this winter should always allow plenty of time before their arrival at the airport and their flight departure—even more time than usual as the already somewhat tedious processes of security and boarding have been somewhat slowed due to airport protocols surrounding the pandemic.
The CDC recommends wearing a mask throughout your entire trip, keeping a six-foot distance between those in your party and those outside of it, in addition to frequent hand washing. While these recommendations are a little bit different than what travelers are used to, it's a small price to pay to keep everyone safe, and for the joys that await you once you're on island.
Island Adventure
Thoughts of your journey will soon disappear once you dive into that first wave, sip a world-famous Mai Tai at Duke's Waikiki, or listen to the mesmerizing sounds of live Hawaiian entertainment.
The white sands and brilliant surf of Waikiki Beach are open for business, as are Honolulu's miles of vibrant hiking trails.
In addition, famed Hawaiian restaurateurs like Duke's Waikiki, Tanaka of Tokyo and more are all open for a dine-in experience.
