    Latest episode: Mike Coots

Surfers in Residence at OUTRIGGER Waikiki Beach Resort returns with an exciting new chapter, hosted by world-renowned surf photographer Zak Noyle.

Born and raised in Honolulu, Zak has captured some of the planet’s most iconic and powerful waves, with his work featured in National Geographic, ESPN and leading surf publications. As a Beachcomber Original and third-generation photographer, Zak brings deep cultural roots and an authentic connection to Hawai‘i’s surf scene.

In this episode, Zak sits down with Mike Coots, a Kauai native, avid surfer and surf photographer, shark attack survivor and passionate advocate for shark conservation. After surviving a tiger shark attack at age 18, Mike turned his personal story into global impact through his photography and activism, helping shift how the world sees sharks.
